Emergency Medical Services (EMS) represent the pulsing heartbeat and vigilant eye of the healthcare system during times of crisis—a position whose true caliber is tested not in textbooks, but on the frontlines of volatile and hazardous fields. We will never forget how, during the recent challenging times and imposed conflicts, our EMS personnel stood at the forefront of these unequal battlefields. With exemplary courage and relentless self-sacrifice, they prioritized the lives of our compatriots and, by navigating through the most arduous conditions, illustrated the true essence of life-saving. During those harrowing days, you stood not merely as technicians or experts, but as true defenders of health, rushing into the heart of the crisis with selfless dedication and proving that there are no obstacles in the path of saving human life. I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to every one of you—our heroic colleagues and unpretentious defenders of health at Zanjan University of Medical Sciences—on the 51st anniversary of the establishment of the National EMS and National Emergency Medical Services Day. Those capable hands that served as a salve for the people’s pain during those difficult days are worthy of the highest praise. I pray to the Almighty God for the continued success and honor of you all in the path of advancing community health. May your health, dignity, and pride be enduring.
