Through the dedication and collective efforts of its faculty and staff, Zanjan University of Medical Sciences has, for the first time in its history, been placed among the top 1000 universities worldwide. According to the latest release of theTimes Higher Education World University Rankings 2026, the university advanced 119 positions to secure a place in the 801–1000 band globally.

• Among the 90 Iranian universities included in this ranking system, Zanjan University of Medical Sciences achieved the 42nd position nationally.

The Times World Ranking is recognized as the most prestigious and significant component of the Times international ranking system. It evaluates universities across five key dimensions: teaching, research, research quality, industry engagement, and international outlook.
