Significant Advancement of Ayatollah Mousavi and Valiasr Educational–Medical Centers in the 2025 National Evaluation The results of the most recent annual national evaluation of Clinical Research Development Units affiliated with universities of medical sciences across the country, released for the year 2025, indicate a substantial and noteworthy improvement in the performance of Ayatollah Mousavi and Valiasr (peace be upon him) Educational–Medical Centers in Zanjan compared with the previous year. According to the Zanjan branch of the Ministry of Health News Agency (Webda–Zanjan), this achievement is the outcome of the sustained, purposeful, and dedicated efforts of the esteemed faculty members of these centers to enhance both the quality and quantity of clinical research activities. In this evaluation, Ayatollah Mousavi Educational–Medical Center secured 12th place among 49 centers nationwide, demonstrating a remarkable 19-rank advancement compared with its position in the 2024 assessment. As a result, the center has been placed within the top 25 percent of leading Clinical Research Development Units among Type II Universities of Medical Sciences. Similarly, Valiasr (peace be upon him) Educational–Medical Center achieved a comparable improvement, attaining 22nd place among the 49 evaluated centers across the country. These accomplishments reflect the strong commitment of both centers to knowledge development and the continuous improvement of healthcare services through research-driven approaches. Beyond being a source of pride for the centers themselves, these achievements represent a significant milestone for Zanjan University of Medical Sciences and the entire National Macro-Region 6, underscoring Zanjan’s considerable potential in the field of clinical research and its role in advancing the scientific and research capacity of the provincial healthcare system. It is anticipated that these advancements will serve as a model for other centers within the province and will further encourage increased investment and sustained focus on clinical research activities at the university level.
