ZUMS Chancellor Inspects Medical School Dining Services, Emphasizing Strict Quality Control Standards

 On Saturday, June 20, 2026, Dr. Saeed Sardari, Cbancellor of Zanjan University of Medical Sciences (ZUMS), conducted an unannounced field visit to the Medical School cafeteria to inspect the quality, quantity, and operational standards of student meal services.

Accompanied by Dr. Peyda, Vice-Chancellor for Cultural and Student Affairs, and a team of directors from the Student Affairs department, Dr. Sardari reviewed the end-to-end supply chain—from food preparation and hygiene protocols to the final distribution process.

Commitment to Nutritional Excellence

The inspection underscored the University’s dedication to student welfare. During the visit, the President emphasized that the nutritional health of the student body is a core institutional responsibility. Dr. Sardari closely monitored the cooking standards and service delivery, ensuring that all health regulations are strictly adhered to.“The process of preparing and distributing student meals must be executed with absolute precision,” stated Dr. Sardari during the site visit. “We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding health and quality standards. Providing high-quality, nutritious food for our students is our highest operational priority, and there should be no disruption in the efficiency or safety of these services.”The visit concluded with instructions to the Student Affairs team to continue rigorous supervision of the dining facilities to ensure consistent adherence to institutional health and safety guidelines.
